The two most common areas where Sparkler® has created filters for edible oils is bleaching and winterization. Bleaching removes "off-colored" components by treatment withfuller's earth, activated carbon, or activated clays. Winterizing, or dewaxing, improves clarity of oils by reducing temperature of the oils and allowing solids to form and be removed by filtration.
